Since our first operation in the mineral-rich Atacama Desert in Northern Chile, Lithium Extraction Works has grown to become a reliable partner to some of the most important companies and industries, with several mines located in South America’s so-called “Lithium Triangle” (Argentina, Bolivia and Chile).
We've grown to become a major regional operator
With demand growing exponentially for rare earth minerals and metals, we at Lithium Extraction Works believe that over the course of the next few decades, we will be able to enjoy rapid expansion on the back of globalization and the accompanying increasing ease of trade.
We aim to use our geographic location, already-established business infrastructure and our consistent innovation in our mining operations to meet growing demand and develop sustainably. With corporate social responsibility and environmentally conscious operations at the center of our strategy, we look to the future and see mutual growth for ourselves and our clients along with further opportunities for international expansion.

The Lithium Triangle
Conveniently located in Chile, one of a trio of countries making up South America’s “Lithium Triangle”, alongside Bolivia and Argentina, Lithium Extraction Works is well placed to sustainably supply international companies with one of the most sought-after elements in the world today; lithium.
Why Chile?
Chile is home to the world’s largest lithium reserves, estimated to be 8 million tons. Some 6 million tons of this is located in the Salar de Atacama, a vast salt basin covering an area of 3,000 square kilometers in northern Chile that contains some of the richest lithium brine deposits known to man.
